Help us with a Showing of Spectacular Support this Season!

Hi Everyone!,

As you probably know by now, we’re making significant changes at CVD – updating our team, giving our image a fresh look, improving how we work with CVDoulas, and streamlining how we communicate with you.

Our resilient leader, Lakeesha Harris, asked us to consider two important things: “Why did you choose to be part of CVD? And, what makes you passionate about supporting births?” She wants us to really think about these questions because it’s essential to know why we do what we do.

In the next few weeks, as we wrap up the year, we will focus on these questions and share our plans for the future. We need your help to keep our work going. There are a couple of ways you can support us:

  • You can make a one-time or monthly donation to help us continue our vital work to reduce the high number of Black mothers who die or have serious problems during childbirth.

  • You can also join us as a volunteer Doula or in other roles. We’re small, but we’re doing big things, and we’d love your help!

  • You can also shop in our Appeal Apparel Shop and get some of your holiday shopping done!

Thank you for any support you can give. To help, go to bit.ly/Support4CVD.
