E.D. Lakeesha Harris Accepted for Rockwood Leadership Training Experience

Writer: JaneanJanean

Our Executive Director, Lakeesha Harris, has been accepted for sponsorship for the Rockwood Leadership training experience. Their program, Art of Leadership, is a development opportunity that will take her to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in April. Special thanks to Sona Smith and Ms. Foundation for Women, the grantors of the opportunity.

Rockwood Leadership Institute has provided thousands of social change leaders worldwide with tools and skills to foster personal and community transformation.

The training covers Rockwood's core practices: Purpose, Vision, Partnership, Resilience, Performance, and Personal Ecology. Through guided meditation, small group exercises, games, and deep reflection, Lakeesha will explore these practices and learn how to integrate them into her role as CVD Executive Director.
