We are proud to present Chicago Volunteer Doulas’ 2026 Impact & Service Report. This record of accountability shares our collective journey in expanding comprehensive Labor and Postpartum Support, deepening CVDoula workforce development, and upholding birth justice throughout Chicago’s communities.

CVDoula Development
Investing directly in community doulas through trauma-informed continuing education, peer mentorship, sustainable stipends, and leadership pathways.
Pillar 03
Community Programs & Alliances
Partnering with local health clinics, grassroots collectives, and maternal health advocates to bridge systemic gaps in perinatal care.
Pillar 04
Reproductive Justice Advocacy
Centering bodily autonomy and systemic equity to ensure all birthing people receive dignified, culturally affirming care regardless of resources.
Transparency & Deep Gratitude
This work thrives solely because of our shared ecosystem. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated CVDoulas, community partners, institutional funders, and individual donors whose solidarity makes this service sustainable.
As we reflect on our service period from October 1, 2025 through September 1, 2026, the report outlines not only what we achieved together, but also our ongoing funding needs and priorities to sustain vital perinatal support across Chicago.
