About Me:

Hi, my name is Shamara! I'm a mother to 3 wonderful children. They mean the world to me, and I call them my sun, moon, and star. I'm a full-spectrum doula who is constantly learning and evolving to be better for myself and the birthing people I serve. It's exciting to be a part of a life experience such as birth. At one point, I thought I had chosen this path, but I realized it chose me. I have been asked several times to accompany a friend or family member in the birthing room. I joke and tell people that it’s my energy. I believe in positivity, compassion, and support. I have been in the birthing room over a dozen times advocating for moms so they can focus on the most significant task. I have been in education for over 13 years working with 3 to 5yrs old students. I recently graduated with my Master's in Early Childhood, to give me a deeper perspective on babies and young children. I aim to empower and support all birthing persons before, during, and after. I'm very passionate about pregnancy needs and would love to bring calm energy and empowerment. Our little babies are our most precious gifts, and I'm honored to be a part of such an amazing journey.
